In a letter dated 14-June-2000, SODEMO's Sylvain Loume wrote to thank Hitchiner for its help with their sucessful F3 season.
Mr. Loume's letter stated:
"Hitchiner cam followers enabled a really good start to the season in several F3
championships where we supplied Sodemo/Renault motors.
"These motors are 2.0-L, 16V developing more than 200hp for 27mKg torque. We
built 35 of them this year without facing any reliability trouble with the
valve train and particularly the cam followers.
"Our last significant result is the two first places at the Pau Grand Prix
(June, 12) ahead the best European F3 people like the formidable Opel/Speiss
and Mugen/Honda motors.
"Furthermore, Renault/Sodemo/F3 motors are at the F3 French Championship three
first places and also leading the F3 Russian Championship.
Everyone here, including our young F3 pilots (J. Cochet, J. Beltoise, Y.
Schoeder, T. Gommendy...) would like to thank Hitchiner for enabling our motors
to be ready on time and start a good season."
