Prime Responsibilities and Major Factors in Evaluating Performance
1. Gathers requirements for system and process enhancements.
2. Plans, conducts and coordinates the application of information systems techniques to existing and anticipated system and programming needs to meet specified design requirements and specifications.
3. Provides analytical support in the conceptualization, development and implementation of multiple, interlinked systems and programs.
4. Defines test cases and test plans.
5. Interface with Software Developers/System Integrators to understand real time manufacturing software applications. Prepare report specifications for review and work with all stakeholders to prioritize.
6. Coordinates user participation in testing phases.
7. Administers the databases associated with the manufacturing applications.
8. Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
9. Assists with production problem assessments, solutions and recovery efforts.
10. Creates, updates and/or maintains system requirements documentation of business rules, reports and processes.
11. Assist with training and process documentation, particularly relating to system upgrades and new users.
12. Will usually work under general direction and guidelines to formulate and define objectives to resolve issues.
13. Creates methods to solve complex problems involving computer related equipment.
14. Deals with equipment issues such as security, capacity, equipment upgrades, general break \ fix, installations, and decommissions.
15. Technical ability to troubleshoot hardware and software application issues.
16. Attends meetings and holds discussions to formulate concepts and solutions, and then prepares detailed specifications and proposals for approval meetings.
17. Will be responsible for completion of particular phases of a project or entire project.
18. Follow defined compliance and development standards as defined by Sr. IS management.
19. Participate in on-call rotation for off hours support of systems.

3. Help develop and train personnel to improve technical skills.
4. Works and communicates effectively with a wide variety of functional disciplines and levels of management.

Minimum Acceptable Qualifications
6. Bachelor’s degree, 5 - 7 years hands on automated manufacturing experience.
7. Proficiency in PC relational databases, Visual Basic, C++, or C# in a client server, networked environment.
8. Familiarity with IQMS ERP system a plus.
9. .net programming.
10. Sharepoint, development and/or administration.
11. Should be familiar with EDI process and third party providers.
12. Proficient in Crystal Report writing.
13. Proficiency in business analysis and process improvement.
